CORASS is centralized Online Research Assessment and Submission System that allow students to upload Research work.
Students can re-access their submitted reports anytime, monitor the progress of their Project and also check
their grades prior to the final result Approval electronically. With CORASS, Lecturers are able to electronically
assess and grade Project reports submitted by Students. The system is a robust system that is enbedded with
plagiarism checker to enhance the quality of Final Year Project Reports emanating from Kwara State Polytechnic.
The system is an innovation and first of its kind in tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
The new innovative system is very important as Project constitute the Highest Credit Unit as far as Students'
CGPA is concern.

- Students can Submit their Project Chapter by Chapter from the comfort of their Homes.
- Lesser queues at the Supervisors' Offices means more Conveniency to Students.
- CORASS will give assurances to students that their reports are dully submitted to their supervisors for assessment and grading.
- Project Acknowledgement Slips (PAS) Printed by Students after Online Submission will give assurances to students that they have evidence and a case to make when cases of omission and missing project grades arises.
- Lesser interaction between the Students and Lecturers means lesser chances of Female Student harassment.
- Lesser interaction between the Students and Lecturers means lesser chances of Exploitation and Extortions from Students.
- With CORASS, students will spend lesser amount of Money in Typesetting and Binding of Hard copies of Projects and SIWES Reports.
- With CORASS, staff are able to access Students Researches seamlessly without not neccessarily seeing the student.
- The new system will assist the management in effective collation, Central Assessment and Central Documentation of SIWES Technical Reports against the previous manual practices still being used in many institutions across the country.
- CORASS will give lecturers access to many soft copies of their Supervised Project Reports at their fingertips. This will therefore help lecturers in reviewing past Project Report for personal use during lectures or for onward processing into Journals, Textbooks or Articles for Publications. This will enhance Research and Development among the academic staff of the Polytechnic.
- Previously, cases of final year project grades do occur due to manual collations of project grades. With this new electronic system, students project grades are transmitted electronically, eradicating chances of omissions of students grades.
- The Polytechnic library now electronically document and transmit Final Year Project Reports submitted by Students into the Polytechnic e-Library archive for future referencing.
